Binance has announced the addition of Simon’s Cat (1000CAT) and Pudgy Penguins (PENGU) to its comprehensive suite of services, including Simple Earn, Buy Crypto, Convert, Margin, Auto-Invest, and Futures. The rollout will begin on December 17, 2024, with the tokens integrated into various offerings according to the schedule outlined below.
Binance Simple Earn
- Simon’s Cat (1000CAT): Available for subscription via Flexible Products on December 17, 2024, at 09:00 UTC.
- Pudgy Penguins (PENGU): Available for subscription via Flexible Products on December 17, 2024, at 14:00 UTC.
- Starting December 18, 2024, at 10:00 UTC, users can purchase both 1000CAT and PENGU through Binance’s Auto-Invest platform.
Buy & Sell Crypto
Users will be able to buy 1000CAT and PENGU using VISA, MasterCard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or their wallet balances on Binance’s “Buy Crypto” page within one hour of each token being listed on Binance Spot.
Binance Convert
Both tokens will be tradable against BTC, USDT, and other supported assets on Binance Convert at zero fees within an hour of their respective listings on Binance Spot.
Binance Margin
- 1000CAT/USDT Pair:
- Cross and Isolated Margin support begins on December 17, 2024, at 11:00 UTC.
- PENGU/USDT Pair:
- Cross and Isolated Margin support begins on December 17, 2024, at 16:30 UTC.
- VIP 7 to VIP 9 users will have access to borrow 1000CAT and PENGU approximately 30 minutes before margin trading opens.
Binance Futures
Binance Futures will launch the USDⓈ-M PENGU Perpetual Contract on December 17, 2024, at 16:15 UTC, offering up to 75x leverage.
- Funding Rate: Maximum at launch is +2.00% / -2.00%.
- Funding Fee Settlement: Every four hours.
